Harwick Partners takes a long term perspective and does not have any requirements to return capital within a short predetermined time frame. We avoid financing acquisitions with debt so we can support the full liquidity required for the financial health of our portfolio companies. 

We do not have the "red tape" that often limits the flexibility of private equity buyers when structuring transaction terms given their strict requirements to adhere to contractual agreements with their limited partners. We can customize deals to meet the seller's terms and goals for the company after the sale.

Lastly, our advisory boards consist of investment executives with entrepreneurial skills, direct experiences in both small and large companies, and direct involvement versus Private Equity funds that typically retain passive advisors with institutional backgrounds. How Much is my Business Worth?

Harwick Partners will first look at your financials and take into account its historical and projected revenues, expenses, growth rates, customer base, employees, and assets. Harwick Partners is fully capable of exceeding the industry range for the right business. Not every business can be valued the same way as their are nuances that may increase or decrease the risk and return of the future enterprise. 

How will you Pay for my Business?

Harwick Partners will typically offer our sellers two deal structures. The first structure will consist of a cash payment at closing. The second structure will offer a higher total valuation and will consist of an up-front cash payment at closing plus future payments based on an agreed upon Earnout formula. This flexible, unique, and creative deal structure that we typically offer allows our selling partners to enjoy a "second bite" that provides them an ability to continue participating in the future growth of the company.
